Mr Hang Kei HoGeographyAs Hong Kong is a former British colony, its hybrid culture from the east and west has created a problematic identity crisis. My research looks at Hong Kong's identity before and after the 1997 handover through cinema, urban consumption as well as other texts, and also presents its citizens with ideas of alternative futures for the city.
